Founder Randall Farrimond is a 1980 Stanford Law School graduate who also holds a graduate degree in mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Hastings College of the Law and has for many years taught trial advocacy courses at Stanford Law School and the University of San Francisco Law School. Before creating Farrimond Law Offices, Mr. Farrimond had for 20 years tried numerous cases as a litigation partner and associate at two larger, well known San Francisco law firms. He also served for many years on firm management committees and other governing bodies. This experience and his observations of other similarly structured larger firms led him to conclude that a smaller, carefully managed law office would be able to provide superior client service by taking maximum advantage of the latest technologies, by avoiding unnecessary overhead and overstaffing, and by providing clients with direct access to highly experienced attorneys.

While Farrimond Law Offices is continually exploring new ways to improve the manner in which we deliver our legal services, and does not claim to have all of the answers, we do believe that we are ahead of the curve. We have tried to create a firm where our clients' interests and litigation budgets are never compromised by inexperienced junior attorneys learning on the job, by litigating attorneys who lack significant trial experience, or by institutional reluctance to embrace newer and more efficient techniques. Farrimond Law Offices is dedicated to assuring that our clients receive the highest quality legal representation, and that they pay for nothing more.

It is our philosophy that our strong litigation and courtroom skills, and case management techniques, translate well to most areas of civil litigation. We are experienced in handling cases of every size and level of complexity, for both plaintiffs and defendants, in a variety of areas of substantive law. We do focus upon and have significant experience in the practice areas listed at right.

While we are committed to controlling our firm's size in order to provide our clients with the best and most efficient representation possible, we do enjoy access to a broad network of excellent litigators and legal specialists with whom we have worked over the years. We are able to associate these attorneys to assist us in representing our clients as the need arises. We are also prepared to refer our clients to other counsel if we feel we are not best suited to handle a particular case. However, for most civil litigation matters we believe that Farrimond Law Offices can offer our clients an excellent combination of litigation expertise, responsiveness, and efficiency.
